Lynden’s work represents a personal exploration of identity. Her sculptures and prints are informed by the intriguing stories and myths upon which western identities are founded. The pomegranate is her enduring symbol. For Lynden, identity is multi-layered and multi-faceted like a pomegranate. Lynden’s recent masks and prints celebrate the foliage and fruit of the valley and explore the associated legends.
